About the Program
Lead people, drive change and make an impact with York's Bachelor of Commerce Management stream. Develop the business and leadership expertise needed to navigate organizational challenges and drive success in today's global economy. You'll build expertise in strategic management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, globalization, leadership, diversity and inclusion while developing the communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills valued by employers. Learn from accomplished academics and industry professionals as you explore how organizations create value, manage change and achieve long-term success. Through collaborative learning and hands-on experiences, you'll strengthen your ability to lead teams, manage projects and drive innovation across diverse sectors. Applied Learning Opportunities
Build practical leadership and management experience through hands-on learning opportunities integrated throughout your degree. Apply your knowledge in the Business Simulation course, where you'll develop and execute a business strategy while tackling real-world organizational challenges. Enhance your entrepreneurial skills through workshops on start-up development, marketing, financial planning and innovation offered through the Entrepreneurship Development Association. You can also gain valuable paid work experience and industry connections through optional co-op opportunities.
