At our 2025 Guidance Counsellor Day, step onto our newest campus in the heart of one of the most dynamic urban communities in Ontario. Discover our new programs, cutting edge facilities and re-envisioned student spaces, designed for collaboration and innovation.
Guests will also have a unique chance to interact firsthand with Markham Campus' technology-enhanced maker spaces through hands-on workshops in 3D and laser printing, podcasting, V/R and more.

Rotational Workshops: Interactive Learning
Participate in a hands-on session and tour of Markham's unique labs and Library Makerspace. Guests will have an opportunity to choose from a selection of activities that allow you to experience firsthand some of the technology-enhanced opportunities available to students at Markham Campus.

Presentation: Work-Integrated Learning
Learn how our programs complement in-class learning with hands-on experience through applied projects, hackathons, community-based learning opportunities and more. Through field placements and co-ops, internships, case-studies and capstone projects, hear about the many ways students acquire job-ready skills to actualize their career journeys.
Presentation: Co-op Where You Don't Expect It
Co-op is more in-demand than ever, as students and their families (or supporters) seek out degree programs that will help them develop professional skills, make a confident transition to the workplace, and earn income.
Learn how York is integrating co-op programs to degrees where they would not be found traditionally. Across a wide range of programs, we are empowering students to develop practical skills that will make their resume stand out.
